The first newsletter, which was known as The NASSS Newsletter, was published in December of 1978 and was edited by Andrew Yiannakis. In subsequent issues, John Sugden joined the editorial team as associate editor and Lee Vander Velden served as editor.
As of December 2007, Sean Smith has taken over the editorship of NASSSnews, which is published three times a year and is available here in PDF format.
